Ok all you knocked up ninnies...

Get those bellies bouncing and ready to pose. Our amazing Wundermums event for the month of April is being generously hosted by Michaela Devine Photography. Six lucky women will be randomly chosen from all those interested to have a free 45 minute photo session with Michaela herself. And to make you glow even more, you will also receive a free make-up and hair touch up!

All images taken in the photo shoots will be available online in a password protected gallery for you to peruse, order, or simply share with family and friends. What’s even better... all six of the mums chosen will be entered into a draw to win a free full family session (perfect for after baby) and a free 8X10 print ($155 value)!

About me and the baby to be.

Where to start - hmmmm, I currently am a mom to a wonderful little girl who turned 2 in December, I am have been married to the love of my life for four years, but have been together for 10! And I teach approximately 70, grade 7 students English and Social Studies. As for the pregnancy, this one is a lot better than the first. With my daughter I was sick, Sick, SIck, SICk, SICK - all 9 months and then with every contraction - I'm very surprised we chose to do it again (have another baby that is). This time around, I was only sick for about the first 4-5 months, and again now I get that queezy feeling every now and then. When we initially went to the dr.'s to have everything confirmed, both DH and I were feeling great about things. As time went on, I had another dr. appt. around 12 weeks to hear a fetal heartbeat. Needless to say, this was one appt. that I will never forget. She spent a lot of time listening to the heartbeat, said "there it is, can you hear it?", and yes I could, but then it quickly disappeared and my initial thought was ok, you little monkey, you can't be uncooperative this early on or all our lives are going to be very, very interesting for the next 18 years. Then the dr. said, "I found it again, this time very faint and beating differently, is there a history of multiples in either family?". I replied "yes" and DH almost went white as he said that there was a history of multiples in his family too. She sent us on our way with instrustions to go for the 18 week ultrasound and that would confirm just how many babies were growing. I only had my experience with ultrasounds from DD and the tech was doing her thing in about 20 minutes, with this baby, the tech called me in (DH and DD were in the waiting room), he was super friendly, chatted about everything that he was doing. My first question to him was how many?, he confirmed that there was only one, (thank goodness was my reaction, not that twins would have been bad, just busy). He was very detailed with all the measurement that he was taking. I had no clue about time, but finally he said that he was going to go and get DH and DD to come and take a look. DH was anxious to say the least, he wanted to know how many right away. DH was convinced that there had to be at least 2 as the tech took over 40 minutes to do all the measurements before calling him and DD in to take a look. Everything went smoothly there, we did have to come back a few weeks later just so they could take another look at the heart. When we went back, they looked at the heart and everything was fine. We also decided at that time to find out the gender (if the baby would be cooperative) and it was - but NO I am not going to say what the gender is!

I am due on Mother's Day (but actually want to deliver earlier if possible) and feel like this baby could come at any time now. I have been lucky and haven't gained any weight (actually lost some in the first 6 months) so I'm mostly still wearing non-maternity clothes but have found that I am needing tops that are a little roomier.

We have involved our daughter in a lot of this pregnancy, she comes with us to the doctor appointments, I love hearing her tell people that the doctor is going to put "goop goop" on mommy's belly to hear the "baby heart". We let her help us with the baby's bedroom, tell her that she is going to be a big sister and let her pick out a stuffed animal for her to give the new baby. I'm sure things are going to change with her excitement as soon as the baby does arrive, but until then, she seems content with everything. I have also included my "other children" aka, my students, in this pregnancy. I have created a calander that they were able to guess the gender and date that I will have the baby and they can win a baby bottle filled with candy (remember they are 12 years old, so candy as a prize is wonderful). The students put a lot of thought into their guesses, some even asking parents if there were "clues" as to what gender of baby I will have - I had some really strange questions from some students, and I figured that they would have been from an old wives tale that most likely their mom told them. I'm going to be sad to leave them (I'm finishing work on April 9) because I care so much about each and every one of them - I see those children more every day then I see my own daughter, but I know that it is important for me to spend time with my daughter before new baby comes along. That and lately I've had high blood pressure, so my dr. will most likely take me off work, not to mention the one hour drive each way is getting more and more difficult to do.

I hope that the next 6-7 weeks run smoothly for my family, I know that we are going to have a lot of changes and adjustments. I know that there is going to be things that I can't remember what to do, like swaddling - do you do it everytime they go to sleep?, to sleeping - when does it happen with a toddler and newborn, but I know that the wonderful women on here will help me through anything that I'm struggling with (thanks ladies).

I am currently a proud mummy to two little girls turning 3 and 5 this summer. We are expecting our first little boy this April. I am due April 26th. We are very excited to be having a boy as we are planning for this to be our final child.

My little ones are very excited for the arrival of their baby brother. They ask me every day if today is the day the baby will come out. I hope we have a while to go as I am not ready at all.

My back is very excited about the prospect of not being pregnant anymore. My final pregnancy is proving to be more physically challenging than my other two.

I am a proud mommy to a 3 yr old little boy and my second baby is due on May 25th. We are planning this to be our final child! We have tried to find out the sex of our baby but it has been camera shy through 3 ultrasounds! We have resigned ourselves to being surprised.

This pregnancy has been somewhat challenging, lots of aches and pains, but I am trying to cherish every moment of it because I will probably never be this way again. I would love to capture this time in my life on film! Pick me, please, I will be an outstanding model!!!!

Well I'm the lucky, though some think slightly insane, Mommy to an almost four year old boy and an almost 2 year old girl. I am due May 8, 2009 and the next few months will be busy. My daughter will be two April 18, baby is due May 8 and my son will be four June 2!!! I've been married to my sweetie for 6 years this July, though we've been together for 14 years.

My friends still remark on how much I've changed. I held off on having kids, never sure I wanted kids and then the year after we finally got married I thought I would leave it in fate's hands, so I went off birth control. Six weeks later I was pregnant with my first and totally shocked!! Loved being pregnant and realized after my son was born that I love being a Mom.

Decided we would have another and got pregnant the week I weaned my son. This pregnancy was a little harder with some queasiness but resulted in a beautiful baby girl, 10 days over due mind you!

The first year with my daughter was rough, my husband was working nights, she was fussy and our old house was not set up for someone to sleep during the day with an active toddler and fussy baby. We made it through though and I realized there's still someone missing.

Getting pregnant for the third time was harder, because there was a lot of negotiating with my husband!! It took a lot of talking, pleading and some begging, not to mention agreeing to a new, bigger motorcycle to convince him that one more baby would complete our family. The first month I had him convinced, we got pregnant!!

No idea if this baby will be a boy or a girl, we love the surprise and I've decided since this is our last baby, we're going all out. I want the whole experience so we are having a waterbirth at home!!

I had an ob for my first two and no bad experiences, though I didn't really want to be induced with my daughter, but it all worked out. I want to know I can do it without the epidural which I gave in and had both times. To this end I've got a doula, we've rented a birth pool and I've got my midwife. So I'm really going to be working on not going over due this time!!

This pregnancy has been a little harder on my body. Still a good pregnancy, no heartburn, little morning sickness, but achy as I get further along. Third pregnancy in 4 years, my poor ligaments haven't had time to heal, but its sooo worth it. I'm enjoying every little squirm and squiggle and just taking it one day at a time. I am leaving work early this time, to have a little extra time with the kids and my husband before the new baby gets here.

Have to say I would love professional pictures, never had that with any of my pregnancies and then I wouldn't feel so guilty about not having as many belly pictures of this pregnancy as my others (hard to remember and find the time!!).

Hi im a proud mommy of 2 active little boys, ages 2.5 and 4..almost 5! and am pregnant with my Lil girl!!! due June 25th..we are so exited so the ultrasound better be right! I have been pregnant 6 times but had 3 losses, and am always soo worried my hole pregnancy that somthing bad is going to happen! With my 2 boys i made it to Full term! Ashton my first son was 1 day early!Had him be csection and i gained 55 pounds and was happy to get him out! He was 9.5 Lbs and My second son was 2 days early i had v-bac with him and he was 8Lbs7.5Oz and had a long 23hours of labour but it was all worth it! this lil girl im pregnant with now has gave me some real bad morning sickness in the begining and that lasted 4 months and now everthing is fine, except my cervix is already soft and im supposed to take it easy and i have been having real bad dizzy spells acociated with pounding heart rates but other than that have had a great pregnancy and cant wait to meet her finally!! I really hope im the lucky one for this cause i have no time or money to do my self all up and go get pictures and i would absalutly Love!! that keepsake!! i wished i had of done somthing like that with the other pregnancys but couldnt never afford it! good luck to all you other moms and babies! but i hope me and my lil girl are the lucky ones it would be a wonderful oportunity!
